ABOUT EXCEL FITNESS

Christa Chasse AFLCA Certified, Mount Royal College Personal Trainer Certificate, Level 1 Kickboxing Instructor, Certified Spin Instructor, Group Instructor. I was born in North Battleford Saskatchewan and moved to Alberta in 2003. I went to school at Mount Royal College to pursue a career in the fitness industry and in 2005 I attained my Personal Trainer Certificate. I moved to Canmore shortly after to start my career as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. My passions in life are snow boarding, hiking, dancing, running, weight training and my business. Excel Fitness was started in January of 2008. I offer personal training and fitness classes out of a studio and also teach classes outdoors in the spring, summer and fall. I also teach a variety of classes all year round at different facilities and locations in the Bow Valley. I teach Boot Camp, Core classes, Spin classes & Kick Boxing classes. I am dedicated to what I do each and every day. I have a strong passion for fitness and continue to grow with the industry each year as there are always new things to learn and teach. There are so many ways to keep in or get into shape, it’s my job to help you find something that works and helps you to succeed. Fitness and nutrition is the key to a long and healthy life and I think everyone owes it to themself!

WHAT IS PERSONAL TRAINING?

Personal training is one on one instruction each time you come into the studio. No matter what the problems are, no matter how you feel that day, my job is to train you safely and effectively each and every time. No program will ever be the same, so it’s always something new and motivating.

WHAT IS PERSONAL FITNESS PROGRAM DESIGN?

Program design is a workout plan designed for your fitness level, no matter what the case may be. You will go through a program with a personal trainer and have that program to do on your own wherever you do your training. Whether it’s at home, at the gym, outside or on the road the trainer will adjust the program to those wants and needs. You will be designed a safe and effective program that can be changed as often as you’d like!

Half price + $10.00 (of the 1 hours sessions)

* All personal training sessions will be invoiced at the end of 30 days. GST will be added to the above prices. 2% interest applies to unpaid fees after 1 month of invoice date.

Cancelation Policy - all appointments must be cancelled within 24hrs or it will be charged in full.

 

Basic consultation - FREE with any training session(s)

Advanced Assessment/Consultation - $30.00 (Postural Analysis, Flexibility testing, Muscle testing, Heart Rate Zone Chart, Body Fat Composition) - Approx 30 minutes

Body Fat Composition - $15.00

10 Punch card (expires in 1 year) - $130.00 (13.00/class)

20 Punch card (expires in 1 year) - $230.00 (11.50/class)

30 Punch card (expires in 1 year) - $315.00 (10.50/class)

3 months unlimited classes - $260.00
(Recommended for participants attending 2 or more classes a week)

These punch cards and unlimited class prices do not include outdoor boot camp. GST not included on all prices above. Classes are subject to change depending on interest in classes. Classes are usually cancelled on holidays. If a class has to be cancelled please keep posted by email so you have sufficient notice.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Boot Camp - This whole body workout will leave you feeling stronger, fitter and energized! Using everything from dumbbells, bosu balls, gliders, bender balls, resistance bands, boxing gloves and so much more! Any fitness level welcome to take everything at your own pace. This class is a different whole body workout every time and will help keep you motivated! Try the morning to start your day off with lots of energy or come at night! Lots of options!

Core and Stretch - This class is a whole body core workout, a whole lot of ABS! Working on everything from your balance to your endurance, this class is full of fun challenges that will make you feel noticably stronger . Great for decreasing low back pain, neck pain, improving posture, sports performance, and so many other great perks. This class always end off with plenty of stretching using straps, bosus, rollers, and more!

Spin Classes - different types of Spin Classes are being taught at Excel Fitness. Spin classes are pre-registration only with the option of being put on a drop in call list, and if a spot becomes available you will receive as much notice as possible. Kickboxing with Core and Stretch (will return in Sept 2011) - This class starts out with kickboxing and ends off with core and stretch. Kickboxing includes punches and kicks using the focus pads and boxing gloves, along with great combinations guaranteed to challenge your whole body! Kickboxing is a fun and great way to improve posture, muscle and cardio strength! Looking for something new, this class will keep you on your toes!

I have been to many fitness classes over the years and I have had a few personal trainers over the years as well. I can say without a doubt that Christa Chasse is one of the most dedicated, knowledgeable instructors I have been too. I'm almost a bit addicted to her workouts because when I miss one of her classes I crave a "Christa Workout". Whether it's a small group class, personal training or a large outdoor fitness class she can keep me going, work every muscle and finds the perfect sequence to give the best work out possible! I can't say enough great things about her...if you haven't seen Christa you haven't had a workout!!

Christa has been my trainer for a number of years, I see her twice a week and I have never done the same thing twice. She always has something new and more challenging all the time, she is a master at getting you to squeak out just a few more reps or top off the exercise so your work out is even more efficient.

I have done her boot camps, they are wonderful, just what you need to kick start a program or kick it up a notch, all in a great group setting. I have done them indoors or she holds them out doors for the ultimate in a great workout plus all there is to offer in the valley. Fun mixed with hard work will be what you find in all of Christa's classes and work-outs.

When I first went to your class at the SBB back in Oct 2009...I couldn't walk for 3 days..it hurt just to step off the curb...lol...so first classes is no excuse!!!

Today, it doesn't hurt anymore..I just know I had a workout. I feel so awesome and healthier since I met you. I praise your name and try to recruit ppl to come and join me. I feel so great after a boot in the butt, and I love how you join in on the work outs and pay attention to so many ppl all at once. You sure know your stuff and how to motivate a person. You're my silent hero!

Today, nothing seems to measure up to your classes. I said you spoiled me. In a good and awesome way! I'm 44 and have a drive to be pushed and challenged.....its hard for other instructors or classes to measure up. Thanks to your classes, and a few home workouts I lost 11.5 inches.I still have more to go to be where I want to be......... Keep up the great work Christa
